Donation Policy

Al-Ali Foundation is committed to transparency, accountability, and integrity in the use of funds received from our generous donors. This Donation Policy outlines how we manage contributions and ensure they are used effectively in support of our mission.

1. Purpose of Donations

All donations made to Al-Ali Foundation are used to support our core programs and services, including but not limited to:

  • Education initiatives
  • Social welfare programs
  • Health and hygiene awareness
  • Community development projects
  • Emergency and humanitarian relief

We allocate funds based on priority needs and the sustainability of our ongoing work.

2. Donation Methods

We accept donations through the following secure channels:

  • Online payment via credit/debit cards or UPI
  • Bank transfers
  • Cheques and demand drafts
  • In-person donations at authorized events or centers

All donations should be made in the name of Al-Ali Foundation only.

3. Tax Exemption

Al-Ali Foundation is registered under [Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013] and is eligible to receive donations under applicable Indian laws. Donations may qualify for tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act (subject to approval). A valid receipt will be issued for all contributions.

4. Donation Receipts

A formal receipt will be issued within 7–10 working days of receiving the donation. The receipt will include:

  • Donor name
  • Amount donated
  • Date of donation
  • Mode of payment
  • PAN (if applicable)

Please ensure your contact details and PAN number are submitted correctly to receive a tax-exempt receipt.

5. Refund Policy

Donations are non-refundable. However, if you believe a donation was made in error or there was a technical issue, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction at donate@alalifoundation.org. Refunds, if approved, will be processed via the original payment method.

6. Donor Privacy

We deeply respect the privacy of our donors. Personal information is collected solely for the purpose of issuing receipts and maintaining records, and will never be shared or sold to third parties. Read our Privacy Policy for more details.

7. Use of Funds

Al-Ali Foundation maintains complete transparency in the utilization of funds. Financial records are audited annually and made available to donors and stakeholders upon request. We are committed to ensuring that maximum funds are directed to the beneficiaries and causes we serve.
